Blue Sky is an Animation studio based in Greenwich, Connecticut and is the Animation section of 20th Century Fox. The Studio was founded in 1987 by the group of animators: Chris Wedge, Michael Ferraro, Carl Ludwig, Alison Brown, David Brown and Eugene Troubetzkoy after their employer MAGI, a studio behind the film Tron shut down. In 2019 Blue Sky was bought by Disney in their buying of the 20th Century Fox. The studio has produced 13 feature films with 1 coming next year, Ice Age and Rio being the 2 most successful. In 2013 Ice Ages Scrat became the company mascot.
